Yesterday’s storm definitely left some snow, with the greatest accumulations east and northeast of NYC (see infographic at bottom). That said, enough came down on the mid-Hudson region to do the local skiers and daytrippers some good!
Looks to be very cold today and Saturday, with some wind as well. Cold temps and crisp snow, combined with considerable windblown drifting may mean slower skiing than would be ideal for skating, but nice for very old-style classic. Break out the wood skis and pine tar.
Sunday is looking to be a fine and gorgeous day for skiing and being outdoors. Enjoy.
