Summary

Snowfall across the higher elevations has left some accumulation, but not enough to open in places without snowmaking to augment the cover. Prospect Mountain is open and grooming with 12″ of new snow.

Places that are open either have very little trail available, or have ‘caveat skier’ warnings in effect. Notchview is ‘almost’ open, but only for those never-say-die residents who just have to get out on skis right now. Wild Wings got a decent amount of snow, but without a real base, skis would just bottom out and grind on soil and rock.

Covid note

Looks like the protocols from last season are inching their way back into our lives again. If any indoors facilities are open, mask up. Plan to prep skis in advance, and use your vehicle as your base lodge. Check destination state or municipal Covid protocols if traveling beyond your home area.
