Trails open at Mohonk and more

[Update 1]: from the mhvxcs group, Minnewaska is grooming today and will be open for skiing Tuesday. Prospect Mountain received 18″ of snow so far and will open Tuesday. Wolfsnow68 says Fahnestock received 2″ of mixed precipitation overnight, and will update snowfall amount later.

[Original post]: Mohonk is reporting 6″ of new snow, snow continues to fall, and trails are open. Expect rustic (ie, ungroomed) conditions today. High Point is anticipating opening for skiing Tuesday.

No word directly from Fahnestock or Minnewaska regarding opening the trails for skiing, but the way the forecast is shaping up, Fahnestock could get 6″, and Minnewaska/Mohonk about 12″.

Pineridge is open today with 13″ of new snow. Notchview and Canterbury Farm each report 12″ on the ground and they are prepping trails to be open Tuesday. Lapland Lake has 8″ with a few more expected. They’re rolling out up to 10k today.

Take care driving as roads could be icy.
