The TBD weekend

Here’s a moment of bliss from Lapland Lake, in the lower Adirondacks:

The temps and rain have left wet trails and less snow (Grafton Trails must be grooming with a butter knife). A drizzle continues to fall across the north country from Osceola on the Tug Hill plateau to Jackson NH in the White Mountains.

As a result, some places are TBD about Saturday. The better news is that temps will be going to or below freezing in the north country tonight, so Sunday could have additional trails or centers opened. In classic lake-effect fashion, Osceola is expecting up to 10″ of snow overnight!

As it stands, the nearest centers that seem to have ‘weathered’ the week best are: Prospect Mountain, Lapland Lake, and Garnet Hill. Shout out for Grafton Winter Carnival this weekend, and that there will be skiing.
