Gore Mountain says the Nordic trails will be open Saturday, but no word on extent. Mt. van Hoevenberg is still using just a 1.8k section of the new lower loop. Craftsbury is open but requires season/day pass and rental of a racer bib at $50. The trails in the White Mountains are doing quite nicely for those living in the Granite State.

A light dusting of snow may occur along the Lake Ontario shore and North Country this weekend, but warming trends will result in a bit of rain toward Sunday and Monday. Another weather front arriving in the latter part of next week may bring greater amounts of snow generally across the Northeast. The ground needs to get a bit colder so a base can build up.
