Feb. 24 updated outlook

Summary:

We’re in the phase where snow can appear and disappear within a day, so if you want to ski, take the day off and get out there right now because warmer temps are on the way.

Prospect Mountain got 4″ of snow and is open. Lapland Lake got 2″. Canterbury Farm is hopeful for Friday snow(?). Any kind of fresh snow helps because whatever base was left likely refroze overnight.

Grafton Trails is hanging in there, Wild Wings is opening, Cascade has 15 km open, and Osceola is open of course. Where natural conditions exist, grooming can bring it back to skiable conditions.

Gore, Mt. van Hoevenberg, and Mountaintop are living on manmade loops.
