How’s the skiing in general?
This is setting up to be a very short spring ski season. Great while it lasted, but it seems to be going too quickly. Some places have hung the ‘offseason’ sign because we’re already just a few days from spring and the crocuses are blooming.
And yet- there’s a slim chance of northern NY, VT, and NH to pick up 2-4″ of snow by Saturday, which would definitely make for better skiing on the weekend.

Forecast
Highest daytime temps of the month expected Wednesday. With night time temperatures dipping below freezing again later this week, we’d have nice spring conditions, except for the lack of snow. Multiple systems arrive over the next several days. By the days of the week:
- Wednesday: clear,
- Thursday: Rain arriving, and may finish as snow or sow showers up north before it leaves on Friday. Could be a few inches of accumulation. Wind picks up late Thursday, and gusts of 45+mph expected Friday, he strongest winds in the downstate region.
- Saturday: A small systeem may bring a shower on Saturday.
- Late Sunday or earl Monday: A more significant system will over the northeast with periods of rain or snow and freezing rain. This system could extend all through Tuesday.
