If the cold and wind doesn’t bother you, this is great weather. Ater a warm and wet New Year’s, winter has returned with some attitude. This is a quick post that I plan to update later in the day.

Mother Nature was her pickiest self yesterday, dropping very little snow overall, but some isolated patches got 5-6″. Since successful ski touring centers tend to be located to be lucky for snow, some were indded recipients of good fortune.
