Conditions
No doubt about it, the conditions are nearly non-existent. BETA report of 3/7 says backcountry skiing starts above 2500′, with mud below.

Forecast
Friday will be a dry day. Runoff may be high. Mind the mud. Temperatures for Friday and Saturday will be warmer than normal, with some high temps well into the 50s. The latter half of the weekend begins a cool period lasting for a few days, with a mix of precipitation including some snow.
Rain showers start Saturday late morning, overspreading the northeast with heavier rain to the west. During the Saturday/-Sunday overnight there will be changeovers to wintry mix for nothern New York State and northern New England, and elevated areas will see some snow. Precipitation type will flip back and forth between rain, wintry mix, and snow based on latitude and location through Sunday,
By early morning Monday the system will be dropping mostly snow showers across northern New York State and northern New England before departing in the overnight into Tuesday. Total accumulations are not likely be to be significant except for very limited locations in the mountains and higher elevations.
The midweek looks to be dry and warmer than ‘normal’.
